Dr Titunik received a BS from the University of Maryland and his DDS from Temple University. He is a general dental practitioner, retired as Commander, DC, USNR. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology.
He is a lecturer and consultant for various law enforcement agencies and organizations in the fields of forensic odontology and dentistry.
He is a former Adjunct Professor of Forensic Sciences at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and former graduate course director and lecturer in forensic human identification and a graduate research project mentor.
He is an Adjunct Professor of Forensic Sciences, Henry C.Lee College of Forensic Sciences, University of New Haven, Fellow and lecturer, Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science,a Fellow in a number of organizations including the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry.
He is active in organized dentistry including the Greater New York Dental Meeting, International College of Dentists,and the New York County Dental Society.
