Dr. Delattre is Professor in the Department of General Dentistry and Dental Public Health at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. She directs the forensic dentistry courses, and presents continuing education courses in the field of forensic dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, after previously receiving two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Biology and another in Chemistry from Houston Baptist University. Her specific areas of interest include dental morphology, dental anthropology, and forensic dental identification. Dr. Delattre is a fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
