Robin Ainsworth, DDS, MS, is a retired Captain in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS). Throughout her career she served in various Public Health Service and military assignments. Her dental forensic career began in 2001, when she was deployed through HHS/DMORT to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City. She was also deployed to Louisiana (St. Gabriel and Carville) for Hurricane Katrina, through DHS/DMORT. Dr. Ainsworth also augmented the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System with dental identifications of remains processed through Dover Port Mortuary at Dover Air Force Base. She is currently a clinical professor at Louisiana State University.
